The Tale of Desperaux
Have you read a book called “The Tale Of Despereaux”? If you Haven’t read this book, then now is the time to go and grab this book from your library. If it’s not there, then I will tell you what the main event in this whole story is. This book tells you different stories in this one book. I will just tell you half of it. I’m going to start on the first story. A mouse was born different than the other mice. His name is “Despereaux Tilling” and he was the smallest mouse in the mice community. Despereaux fell in love with the princess that lived with Despereaux in the castle. The princesses name was “Princess Pea.” Despereaux had to go to the mouse council and then to the dungeon for Falling in love with a human. And did he live? You will have to read it to find the answer. I think this book should get a five star because I like how they put the French words in some of the chapters. I also like how they put a story with in the story. This book also has some adventures and action. I think you should read this book if you like adventures, action, French words or even stories but in a different way. You should defiantly get this book called “The Tale Of Despereaux”. By Katie
Do you like action and adventure? Well if you do read Pippi Longstocking. It is full of adventure. This is what it is about. Pippi’s dad is a sailor. He got lost at sea. Pippi’s mom died. Pippi is very strong. Since her mom died and her dad got lost at sea, Pippi moves next to two kids. Together they have awesome adventures. Pippi saves two kids from a huge fire.
I loved this book! I would definitely lend this book to a friend because its fun to imagine yourself in someone else’s place. That was my opinion of Pippi Longstocking.
The Magic School Bus The Giant Germ By Anne Capeci
Have you ever wanted to explore germs like a microscope? In The Magic School Bus The Giant Germ the main character Keesha and her classmates got to study different germs. Ms.Frizzle is the teacher. She is a teacher who does a lot of field trips. She wants the class to learn. Ms.Frizzle has a magic school bus that shrinks into microbe size. It is important because they need to study germs that are smaller than you can see with your eyes. I like this book because it had a lot of information about germs. For example, I learned that some germs can make you feel very good. I also learned that germs are floating all around us. I would recommend this book to a friend because they might want to learn about germs in a fun way.
Out side in Do you like the hunting season? Do you like bugs or how dogs can track down almost anything? Well then read this Out side in magazine because it has hunting tips and everything you need to know about a dog’s nose and plus some really weird bugs. It includes a back page with readable questions and answers. Did you know that dogs can sniff out people in the snow or ground, drugs, food, explosives, and even flammable items!
Have you ever had a team mate be mean to you? Well in ice magic Pie had a team mate be a bully. In Ice Magic Pie did not want to be the greatest but deep down inside he did. In this book pie thought it was just a regular day then his friend told him to read a sercrept that said the ice would be magic. When it was pies turn to go on the ice pie scored a goal it was like the ice liked him. At the end of the game the score was 7 to2 pies team won! I think you should read this book if you like magic or hockey.
Junie B. Jones & that Meanie Jim’s Birthday By Barbara Park
Have you ever felt left out? In this book Junie B. Jones feels exactly this way. It all started when Junie & a boy named Jim have an argument on the bus. Jim gets annoyed with Junie B. Jones so much he uninvites Juine to his party. Junie feels horrible, and she tries to talk her friends Lucille & grace into not going to the party. Instead Junie`s parents make planes for her to go to her Grandpa Miller`s house to help him fix his toilet. A couple of days latter Jim’s mother makes him reinvite Junie to his party. Now what do you think Junie will do? You’ll have to read the book to find out. I think Junie B. Jones & that Meanie Jim`s Birthday is a hilarious chapter book. This book is funny because Junie says silly things like; turn your big fatty head around; &; Here Mr. Stinky head tattle tale boy. So, if you like books that make you laugh out loud you’ll like Junie B. Jones & that Meanie Jim`s Birthday.
